The artwork is influenced by winds from a volcanic crater, rich in sulfur, which naturally corrodes the brass plates. This process reverses the traditional printmaking concept, where "paper" becomes the "plate." The etched rose on the aged brass symbolizes the shared life of the Little Prince and his rose, capturing the marks left by time. These traces, representing genuine use and life, embody the unique bond between the Little Prince and his rose, highlighting the deep emotional significance within the piece.
