The artwork is influenced by winds from a volcanic crater, rich in sulfur, which naturally corrodes the brass plates. This process reverses the traditional printmaking concept, where "paper" becomes the "plate." The etched rose on the aged brass symbolizes the shared life of the Little Prince and his rose, capturing the marks left by time.
