Silent Fireworks

“This is the best gift I could give to the place where I grew up, and to myself.” — YANG Chung-Ming In 2014, inspired by Ai Ya’s Silent Fireworks: My Taiwan Flowers and Trees, YANG Chung-Ming created an art exhibition focusing on Taiwan’s native flowers and trees. Using various printmaking techniques, YANG depicted the overlooked beauty of everyday plants in Taiwan, reawakening an appreciation for them. His works, infused with care for the land and reflections on the environment, transform Ai Ya’s words into visual poetry, capturing the deep beauty of Taiwan’s natural landscapes.
