Eternal Flight fig.1~4

Eternal Flight merges printmaking with handmade paper techniques to create paper butterflies that emerge uncut from the pulp, with mist-like rough edges. YANG Chung-Ming uses entomological pins to layer these butterflies, creating a shadow effect that makes them appear to flutter in a dreamlike state. Yang extends "printmaking" into "three-dimensional art", where the layered paper fibers flutter like butterflies in flight when touched by a breeze. These works not only recreate butterfly specimens from the Taiwan Forestry Research Institute but also celebrate Taiwan's legacy as the "Kingdom of Butterflies," as if a piece of history has been reawakened.
