In Paradise Greenhouse, YANG Chung-Ming brings abandoned greenhouses at the Taiwan Forestry Research Institute to life by layering paper fibers. When backlit, the artwork reveals intricate details of plants and structures, creating a translucent effect that immerses viewers in the atmosphere of a real greenhouse. The rough edges of the handmade paper, reminiscent of mist and moisture, add a touch of mystery. Through the use of entomological pins, YANG infuses these once-thriving spaces with a deep sense of commemoration.
