Ripples of Time features a small bronze statue of Cupid on an openwork marble pedestal. Once an ornament from a European antique clock, the statue now rests on brass sand, symbolizing its past and resembling a golden desert. Beneath the sand, faint steps extend into endless darkness, creating a gaze into the unknown. YANG Chung-Ming explores the structure of time, suggesting that if time were linear, it might be vertical, like a date window on a watch, marking time in another dimension. Will the next moment lead to another layer of space?
